Senate Screening Drama

Senate Screening Drama

FCT, Abuja – Chaos and heartbreak unfolded at the National Assembly on Wednesday, October 4, as President Bola Tinubu’s ministerial nominee, Abbas Balarabe, dramatically fainted during his senate screening. The incident occured during a session that resembled more of a reality TV show than a political proceeding.

President Tinubu had nominated Balarabe to represent Kaduna State as a minister, aiming to fill the void left by the rejected former governor, Nasir El-Rufai, due to alleged security concerns, as reported by the Punch.

The Senate screening took a bizarre turn just 15 minutes into the session when Balarabe, while introducing himself, suddenly fainted while standing on the podium. The scene was nothing short of a soap opera cliffhanger.

“Senate President Godswill Akpabio called for help, acting like a concerned parent, requesting sugar and water, and directing journalists to stop recording.”

“Mysterious Poisoning of Tourism Minister”

“Medical personnel gave dramatic first aid, and Yemi Adaramodu confirmed Balarabe’s miraculous Senate approval.”

“In a tragic twist, Tribune journalist Tijani Adeyemi had a cardiac arrest while boarding a National Assembly shuttle, adding to the day’s dramatic events.”

“Adeyemi boarded a shuttle at Mopol Gate around 10 a.m, but tragically died en route to the Secretary General of the Federation clinic.”

“On that day, the National Assembly saw politics and tragedy like a gripping show. Senate screening were unexpectedly riveting.”
