PDP Governorship Screening Committee Clears All Aspirants
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governorship Screening Committee for Edo State has given the green light to all ten candidates who appeared before them on Monday.
Eight Aspirants Receive Clearance Certificates
On Tuesday, eight of the aspirants were present at the PDP National Secretariat in Abuja to receive their clearance certificates from the PDP National Organizing Secretary, Umar Bature.
One Aspirant Absent
However, one aspirant named Balogun Sunday did not show up for the screening. He had paid N5 million for the expression of interest form but did not buy the nomination forms.
The Ten Cleared Aspirants
The following ten aspirants have been cleared:

- ANSLEM U. OJEZUA ESQ.
- HON. FELIX E. AKHABUE
- ASUERINME IGHODALO
- HON. COMRADE PHILIP SHAIBU
- ARTHUR ESENE
- OMOREGIE OGBEDIE IHAMA
- AMB. PROF. MARTIN UHOMOIBH
- OSARO OSAZE ONAIWU
- UMORU ADIZETU HADIZAT
