Port Harcourt Refinery Starts Operating
Good News for Nigeria
The Port Harcourt Refining and Petrochemical Company in Rivers State has officially started operating, according to the Federal Government. The first phase of work at the plant has been completed, and refined petroleum products will start flowing from the refinery after the Christmas break.
A Long-Awaited Achievement
The government had been saying all year that the Port Harcourt refinery would begin operations before the end of 2023. Now, it has finally become a reality.
