Government’s Insensitivity Hurting Nigerians, Says PDP

The PDP argues that the government’s failure to pay salaries has turned Nigeria into a huge Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camp. Many Nigerians are suffering from hunger and misery during the festive season.
Weaponizing Poverty
The PDP accuses the APC administration of using poverty as a weapon to suppress Nigerians. While President Tinubu enjoys parties and luxury, workers are left with nothing to feed their families.
A Heartless Act
The PDP points out that during the 16 years of the PDP in government, workers always received their December salary before Christmas. However, the Tinubu administration has chosen to prioritize unnecessary expenses over the welfare of government workers.
The Mismanagement of Resources
The PDP questions the government’s profligacy and its failure to pay salaries despite the availability of funds. The Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) announced the sharing of trillions of naira, yet workers remain unpaid.
A Call for Accountability
The PDP demands that President Tinubu explain the use of funds from the removal of petroleum subsidies and other revenue sources. Additionally, the party calls for immediate payment of the December salary and extra compensation to alleviate the economic hardship faced by workers.

The PDP reminds President Tinubu that Nigeria is a federation that should be governed by the constitution and the rule of law, not by the whims of individuals or groups.
