A Terrible Day
Mohbad’s wife explained that he died in his room on September 12, 2023. Before his passing, he wasn’t feeling well and asked for the air conditioner to be turned on. Unfortunately, it wasn’t working, so they quickly moved him to their son’s room.
A Desperate Rush
While all this was happening, Mohbad’s wife was in the kitchen. When she came out, she saw a nurse injecting him with something. Mohbad asked the nurse to remove the syringe, but it was too late. They had to rush him to the hospital.
A Heartbreaking Car Ride
On the way to the hospital, Mohbad was in the back seat of the car. The driver noticed that his hands were already cold. Mohbad’s wife immediately called a friend on a motorcycle to follow them to the hospital. She couldn’t believe that her husband was gone, as she had spoken to him just 20 minutes before.

A Show Gone Wrong
Mohbad’s wife shared that the day before his passing, they went to a show with about 10 people. While Mohbad was performing, she and their son waited in the car. After his performance, Mohbad said he was tired and wanted to go home, but they had to wait for other artists to finish.
A Fight in the Car
Things took a turn for the worse when Mohbad argued with his younger brother inside the car. Mohbad’s friend, Prime Boy, got involved and a fight broke out. Mohbad’s wife had to call for help to separate them. During the fight, Mohbad injured his elbow by hitting the car window.

Mohbad’s wife revealed that after an incident with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Mohbad became fearful and refused to go to the hospital. He had been treated by a nurse for two years, and she was the one who injected him on that fateful day.

After the NDLEA incident, Mohbad became paranoid and even lost his memory. He started to forget things, like his phone password. People began to say he was mad and he became depressed.

After Mohbad’s passing, his wife didn’t know where he was buried or even which mortuary he was taken to. She also revealed that there were plans to kidnap their son, which is why she had been receiving threats and wearing a face mask for protection.
A Father’s Dream
Mohbad had always wanted his son to be born in Canada, but they couldn’t afford it. He had planned to fly his son to Canada when he got a visa, so he wouldn’t have to spend his first birthday in Nigeria.
