Lagos Starts Selling Forms for Christian Pilgrims

Lagos Starts Selling Forms for Christian Pilgrims

The Lagos State government has some exciting news! They have just started selling forms for the 2023/2024 pilgrimage to the “Holy Land of Rome and Greece.” How cool is that?

The Reason Behind the Change

So, here’s the deal. The Lagos State government and the Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission had to suspend the holy pilgrimage to Israel and Jordan. Why? Well, it’s because of the security situation in Israel. Sadly, many lives have been lost, and the government wants to make sure everyone stays safe.

A New Plan

But don’t worry, they have come up with an alternative plan! Instead of going to Israel and Jordan, they will be taking pilgrims to Rome and Greece. These two cities are super important for Christians because they have a lot of historical significance. It’s like walking in the footsteps of the New Testament Apostles!

How to Get Involved

If you’re interested in going on this pilgrimage, you need to get your hands on a form. You can buy the forms at the Board’s Office in Old Secretariat, Oba Akinjobi Way, GRA, Ikeja, or at the Chapel of Christ the Light in Alausa, Ikeja. Make sure to mark your calendars because the next pilgrimage is planned for January 2024.

What’s Included

Now, here’s the best part. The state government will take care of everything once you pay the required fee. They will provide your ticket, visa, accommodation, food, and even welfare materials. You’ll be in good hands!
