Fire Destroys 17 Offices in Kano LG
Fire Out Break in Kano Local Government Secretariat
There was a big fire in the Gwale Local Government Secretariat in Kano. The fire happened early on Wednesday morning. The Kano State Fire Service confirmed this.
Quick Response from the Fire Service
As soon as they got the call about the fire, the fire service sent a fire truck to the scene. They arrived at 3:46 a.m. to try and control the fire.
Extent of the Damage
The fire destroyed a big area of the secretariat. The ground floor, which was about 300 x 200ft, had 17 offices. All of these offices were completely burned down. Some vehicles, like a Peugeot car, a Haice bus, and an ambulance, were also damaged by the fire.
Investigation Underway
The fire service is now trying to find out what caused the fire. They are investigating the incident to get more information.
