Dammy Krane’s ‘Owe B Owe’ Diss Track

Nigerian singer Dammy Krane, whose real name is Oyindamola Emmanuel, is gearing up for a musical showdown as he plans to release a diss track targeting fellow Nigerian artist, Davido.

The tension between the two artists has escalated over an alleged unpaid debt, which has caused a public spat on social media.

Dammy Krane’s Accusations

The brewing feud began when Dammy Krane took to Twitter to vent his frustration and call out Davido, also known as David Adeleke, over an alleged unpaid debt. The dispute revolves around a song the two artists collaborated on, with Dammy Krane claiming that Davido has failed to compensate him for his contribution.

In his tweet, Dammy Krane wrote, “Let’s not forget @Davido; you took Idowest from my record label; I didn’t talk because I saw you as a brother, neither did I drag the artist (cos I had done my part to help him). Genuinely I want to know why you don’t want to pay me for a song you tweeted that I wrote after all.”

David’s Response

In response to Dammy Krane’s accusations, Davido fired back, asserting that he owes Dammy Krane nothing. He also claimed that he had provided Dammy Krane with three verses and that he had gifted the ‘Izzue’ crooner a significant part of his career. Additionally, Davido mentioned royalties and other expenses incurred when Dammy Krane stayed at his house in Atlanta.

Davido’s response, though heated, did not seem to quell the dispute, as Dammy Krane remained resolute in his pursuit of what he believed he was owed.

The ‘Owe B Owe’ Diss Track Announcement

The controversy took an interesting turn when Dammy Krane announced his intention to release a diss track titled ‘Owe B Owe.’ He made this announcement via his X account on a Friday, further fueling the flames of the ongoing feud.

The lyrics of the track contain direct jabs at Davido with lines like;

“Owe B owe (owe owe one)

Pay me my money (owe owe one)

Owe B owe (owe owe one)

Sha ma sere

“Showcasing Dammy Krane’s determination to express his grievance through music.
