Tragic Incident

Last Wednesday, November 29, a terrible incident occurred at the Kuto Flyover Bridge in Abeokuta. Mr. Taiwo Oyekanmi, the former Director of Finance and Administration attached to Governor Dapo Abiodun’s office, was shot and killed by gunmen. He was only 51 years old.

Robbery Gone Wrong

Mr. Oyekanmi, along with two others, was on his way back to the Governor’s Office after withdrawing money from two major banks in Abeokuta. Unfortunately, they were ambushed by armed criminals. The gunmen not only took the life of the talented accountant but also fled with a large sum of money.
