APC vs Gov Adeleke

Praying for Failure

Members of the opposition party, especially the All Progressives Congress (APC), have been visiting prayer mountains to pray against Governor Ademola Adeleke’s efforts to develop the state infrastructure.

The Government of Osun State is not happy with this. They think it’s not cool for the opposition to wish the governor fails in his plans to build five bridges across the state.

Determined to Succeed

The government is determined to make sure that the projects listed on the N100 billion infrastructure fund become a reality.

The Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Kolapo Alimi, said that the opposition’s prayers will be in vain. The governor and his administration are confident that they will succeed in their mission.

Alimi said, “APC members are praying against us, hoping that we won’t be able to build the five flyovers. But we are going to do it by the grace of God.”

He also added, “Once we launch the infrastructure project, I know they will continue to criticize us. They are wondering how we are going to do it.”

Judicial Crisis

There is also a crisis in the Judiciary arm of the government.

The Commissioner revealed that even though workers in the judiciary have gone on strike, Justice Oyebola Ojo is still the State Chief Judge.

He said, “Since no other judicial officer has been appointed Chief Judge, Justice Oyebola Ojo remains the Chief Judge of Osun until the National Judicial Council makes a decision.”
